Is a laser or needling treatment the right choice for my acne?

Vivace is a specialized microneedling with RF frequency that is able to penetrate below the skin surface. The treatment also has a specialized bluelight attached that kills Propionibacterium acnes, the bacteria that causes acne.

Many of our patients are dealing with harsh chemicals and courses of antibiotics that have several side effects. This offers a safe alternative where the treatment is concentrated and targeted to the specific area of concern. Furthermore, Vivace’s ability to regrow collagen helps minimize scarring and skin surface changes left by acne.

Will my treatment hurt?

The EVO Series has a number of design features that improve comfort as well as reduce recovery time. The lasers treat pigmentation as evenly and precisely as possible to eliminate hot spots and promote natural healing. There is also a cooling feature for IPL treatments that enhances comfort.

How many treatment sessions will I need?

For acne, improvement can be seen often by the first treatment. For improvement in scarring and skin resurfacing, improvement is often seen after three treatments.

What do I need to know before a treatment?

Prior to treatment, no retinol or harsh dermabrasion should be used up to 48 hrs prior. Some patients experience some slight redness after the treatment, however, this treatment has minimal downtime.
